Kemwerke, Inc. was established, producing its basic line of alkyd resins and oils.
1986
A second production plant was established to increase production capacity to 6000 metric tons of alkyd resins per year.
1995
Entering the international scene, Kemwerke’s soya alkyd resins were first exported to Israel.
1996
Kemwerke serves the Asian markets, exporting resins to Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar.
1997
Kemwerke resin solutions were introduced to West Germany.
1998
A tie-up with Huttenes-Albertus of Germany was forged to introduce its no-bake furan resin technology for the Philippines' Foundry/ Metal Casting industry.
1999
Kemwerke’s resin products spread throughout Asia, making it to Thailand, Taiwan and Bangladesh.
2000
Recognizing the importance of international standards accreditation, Kemwerke was one of the first alkyd resin manufacturing companies in the Philippines to receive ISO certification status by UKAS-accredited registrars.
Coconut oil-based Coco Methyl Ester (CME), Coco Diethanol Amide (CDEA) and Coco Mono Ethanol Amide (CMEA) were introduced for the soap, shampoo and detergent industry.
2002
Kemwerke.com was launched.
Kemwerke expands its Asian market, serving Sri Lanka, and Akzo Nobel in Dongguan, China.
2003
Kemwerke resins enter Australia and the African markets, serving as far as Madagascar and Ghana.
2004
MOA signing with Akzo Nobel China during Philippine government state visit to China headed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
