Brief Timeline of Kemwerke in the Global Market
KEMWERKE, Inc. is a wholly Filipino-owned corporation dealing in the manufacture of specialty resins for the paints, inks and adhesives industry. Initially serving the domestic paint industry, Kemwerke has since branched out to the international markets in 1995.
Kemwerke’s export markets extend across various regions in the world, from the Middle East and Africa, to Australia and the Asia Pacific (China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Israel, and Bangladesh.)
Todate year 2010, KEMWERKE exports 90% of their production to the world market
with various grades of Coconut Alkyds and Polyol Resins, while the 10%is sold to
the domestic market. The company is capable of producing others grades of alkyd
resins based on either Soyabean Oil or Linseed Oil, but not much focus is done due to
limitations in raw material availability and price.
