Kemwerke Bio Resin Product Features, Application/Uses in 2 Component 2K Polyurethane
2-Pack Polyurethane (2KPU) systems make ideal coating for metal surfaces due to its durability and weatherability, and is a popular paint primer applied to exposed steel structures to prevent corrosion. Kemwerke Bio Res 407 XL and Bio Resin 4007 react well with isocyanates, giving good adhesion properties of the paint to the substrate.
Anti-corrosion Properties
Coconut oil, being a non-drying oil, allows Kemwerke Bio Resin to exhibit natural resistance to common weather exposure: air, salts, water, and sunlight-the common causes of oxidation that cause metal corrosion. As such, Kemwerke BioResin maintains very good corrosion and UV protection capabilities, expressed in properties of Salts resistance, UV Resistance and High Gloss Retention.
