Kemwerke’s Bioresin is a natural oil polyol (NOP) or biopolyol, derived from the rich lauric fatty acid content of coconut oil.
Kemwerke’s Bioresin is a thermosetting resin, that comes in a low-color, viscous liquid solution
form. It can be used for the production of Polyurethane coatings.
Properties:
Kemwerke Bioresin displays non-yellowing film characteristics, and high initial gloss and gloss retention properties.
Owing to the coconut tree’s natural habitation of tropical, salty and seaside environments, the coconut-based Kemwerke Bioresin shows inherent propensity to resist salts and UV light exposure, and thus exhibits good corrosion resistance and weatherability.
