Bioresin
Kemwerke Bioresin is a Natural Oil Polyol (NOP) or biopolyol derived from the rich lauric fatty acid content of the coconut oil. BioRes 4007 and BioRes 407 XL are thermosetting resins that come in low-color, crystal clear, viscous liquid solution. These resins are used as binder in various paint and coating systems like stoving enamels, polyurethane systems, marine and industrial coatings, to name a few.
Owing to the Coconut trees` habitation, thriving in tropical salty environment, BioRes 4007/ Biores 407 XL show inherent propensity to resist salts and light exposure, thereby exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and weatherability.

Other Alkyd Resins
Alkyds based on various drying and semi-drying oils are also produced by Kemwerke Incorporated.
Kemwerke`s Short Oil Soyabean-TMP Alkyd boasts of its fast drying and color stability properties. Most of the resins under this category are oxidizing/drying type of Alkyd resins. These resins are recommended for quick drying enamels and primers for wood and / or metal substrates.
Polymerized Vegetable Oil
Polymerized vegetable oils are heat treated vegetable oils like soyabean or linseed in which the viscosity of the oil is dramatically increased. The resulting product is more popularly known as stand oil or heat bodied oil.
Polyol Resins
Kemwerke`s line of Polyol Resins have OH value ranging from a high of 4.3 to a low of 2.1. These hydroxyl functional resins make it available to the formulator a wide range of products to suit his requirement.
Polyol Resins (PR) are high molecular weight polymers, with the saturated fatty acid backbone designed and formulated for coatings intended for rigid application.

Kemwerke`s various type of kettles and mixing tanks are available for contract manufacturing services for interested clients. Formulations that require mixing with heating or just mixing are Welcome! Batch sizes are adjusted to client’s formulation requirement.
